Curtis D. Rostad, CFSP, is a licensed funeral director and embalmer with 30 years experience as an employee, manager, and funeral home owner.

He is a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP) through the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice and a member of the National Funeral Directors Association.

He has authored numerous articles for funeral service trade publications as well as many training manuals for funeral service professionals. He is a member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).

He also serves as Executive Director of the Wyoming Funeral Directors Association, a position he has held since 1987 and served as the Executive Director of the Colorado Funeral Directors Association from 1988 to 1992. He is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the Council of Funeral Association Executives.

He is nationally known as a speaker and seminar presenter on various aspects of funeral service including OSHA and other government compliance issues.

He has an extensive background in forensics and death investigation with seven years of serving as a county coroner. He is a member of the American College of Forensic Examiners and is a Board Certified Forensic Examiner with a specialty in death investigation through the American Board of Forensic Examiners.
